David has made it to the Final Four for Teacher of the Year In Alabama and he will be interviewed on July 30th for the final announcement of Alabama Teacher of the Year. We are so very proud of David’s accomplishments and he work thus far.
Local Winner of the Shell Science Lab Regional Challenge
Congratulations to Jamie Bosarge as she was awarded science lab makeover support packages worth $15,000. This will allow her to purchase new lab equipment, kits, and supplies. They will also receive a one year membership to the National Science Teaching Association and will be registered to attend the NSTA’s STEM Conference, which will be held virturally this year. “STEM careers are on the rise and students need to be exposed to opporutnities to encourage their own investigations and problem solving skills in safe, well-equipped environments.”Bosarge shared. She plans to use the funds to provide hands-on STEM education for her students at Alma Bryant High.
