Many people have expressed disappoint in the outcome of the Grand Bay Fire District Fire Fee Increase vote and would like to donate to the Grand Bay Fire District to show their appreciation of our Grand Bay Fire Rescue firefighters and help with purchase of equipment, etc. The Grand Bay Fire District has opened a donations savings account at Century Bank where donations can be dropped off, at any branch, to be deposited into that savings account. You can also mail donations to: Grand Bay Fire District, P.O. Box 797, Grand Bay, AL 36541. Just make the checks payable to Grand Bay Fire District and in the ‘For’ block write Donation. You can also donate cash. The Grand Bay Fire District is a 501(C)3 so all donations are tax deductible. You can either take a picture of your check, use your cancelled check, or after it clears Monnie Tripp can write a receipt for you for your taxes, if you need one.
We know that some people no longer use checks or cash. So we now have another option for you to make a donation with PayPal. You can send donations using your available balance or your bank account and there won’t be a fee. Please be sure to Uncheck: Paying for goods or a service? before you send it. Leaving the box checked (it’s automatically checked and you have to uncheck it), or sending by credit card will incur a PayPal fee on your donation. If you don’t have PayPal it’s easy and free to sign up, and a lot of retailers online accept PayPal. The PayPal link is:

There is also a Grand Bay Fire Rescue Community Auxiliary being established to have fund raisers and advocate for our firefighters. Please volunteer your time, ideas, and help.
