Katelyn Olivia Glass granddaughter of Ladonice Glass of Grand Bay, Al will be a participant in the 2019 Mobile Area Mardi Gras Association Children of The Court. Katelyn will participate in both the MAMGA Junior Coronation and MAMGA Royal Coronation. Katelyn is the daughter of Chrisanthia Glass and Albert Calhoun Jr of Montgomery, Al. Katelyn Olivia is also the great-granddaughter of the late Edna T. Abrams of Grand Bay, Al who was a lifelong member of Providence Baptist Church of Grand Bay. Katelyn is a 5th grader at MacMillan International Baccalaureate Magnet. She is an Honor Roll student and has been inducted into National Elementary Honor Society.
Katelyn plays the violin, is a member of her school choir and is a pointe ballet dancer for Alabama River Region Ballet Company. At such a young age Katelyn has already danced alongside professional ballerinas on stage in The Great Russian Nutcracker Ballet. She has also danced with The Alabama Dance Theater in special ballet performances such as Peter Pan, Dracula, Mistletoe and The Little Mermaid to name a few. Katelyn has been featured as the cover model for Montgomery Parents Magazine and has delivered the weather report as a Future Forecaster for WAKA News. In her leisure time, she enjoys reading chapter books, going to church, traveling with her mom and spending time with her family in Grand Bay, Al. Providence Baptist Church of Grand Bay is proud of this young lady and would like to wish her the best in all her current and future endeavors.
