A: No, you should NEVER use antibiotics that were not prescribed for your current illness or condition. There are many antibiotics available and each one is designed to be effective against a specific set of bacteria. In fact, sometimes using inappropriate antibiotics can even make your current problem worse if it is not effective against the bacteria present in your current illness.
Also, remember to always finish every course of prescribed antibiotics unless directed otherwise by your physician.
